Our Team
Gregory Ness
Greg has been President of ABE Laboratories since 2018. He also serves as the Laboratory Supervisor for the company. Greg maintains overall responsibility for the design, execution and quality of all laboratory processes at ABE.
During his 40 year career, Greg has held various positions of senior responsibility in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
Immediately prior to joining ABE, Greg served as Director of Quality Assurance and Management Representative for Sharp Packaging in Allentown, PA.
Greg has a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of West Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a Quality Engineer and a member of American Society for Quality (ASQ) and Pennsylvania Association of Accredited Environmental Laboratories (PAAEL).
Meredith Niper
Meredith is the Customer Care Manager for ABE. She has been a principal contributor to ABE Laboratories since 2001. Meredith oversees the sample collection team and manages office operations. Her broad familiarity with the company and the drinking water testing business makes her a strong resource for fielding our customer’s questions.
Meredith entered the Marine Corps out of high school and graduated basic training at Parris Island. After serving in the Marine Reserves, she studied at Northampton Community College and Kutztown University.
Immediately prior to joining ABE, Meredith was simultaneously taking nursing classes and working for St. Luke’s Hospital. Meredith is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Accredited Environmental Laboratories (PAAEL).
Kathryn Seaton
Kathryn is the Assistant Laboratory Supervisor. She joined ABE Laboratories as a Laboratory Technician in August 2019. Her attention to detail and strong technical skills contributed to the rise to her current role. Kathryn also covers sampling for pool and DEP customers and assisting customers with samples and questions.
Kathryn graduated from Delaware Valley University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. At DelVal, she ranked nationally at the soil judging competition, was an active member of the honors society and volunteered at Envirothon. Kathryn is a member of PAAEL.
Nicole Hill
Nicole serves as ABE's Senior Sample Collector. She manages the sampling of DEP customers, pools and spas. She is an effective organizer and has gained the trust of the clients she serves. Nicole has been working for ABE Laboratories since August 2010.
Nicole has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University. She has experience in non-profit management, customer service and event management.
